That is technically correct. (The best kind of correct.)

The life won’t be a long one.  It’s kind of like the way every plane continues to fly all the way to the site of the crash.

For efficiency, we drain oil from one car directly into a car waiting for new oil beneath it!

What I find befuddling about this is that you are able to state, “consistently over due for services...” That tells me that this guy is paying for services at a real shop over the course of the car’s life; are you working at a dealership? That guy must have more money than sense, or perhaps not enough of either.

Depends. But it definitely can be.

I’m a dealer tech, yes. Our pricing is actually competitive and often cheaper than competing independents for the same services. And we’re one of the top ten dealer s in the country for CSI scores. This guy may not have sense, but going to dealers isn't why.

For what its worth, I always have my newer cars done at the dealer unless it is something super simple like tires/wheels/filters (do those myself)
